Offer and the conversion event

In this lesson

  • Connect offer → action → measurement

Dana’s offer is a 48-hour test drive plus a same-day financing decision. That is stronger than “we have cars.” Your job is to make the offer visible at the moment of intent and measure the appointment, not the click.

Offer → action → number

Write the chain on one line before you touch a channel. Offer: 48-hour test drive + same-day financing decision on approved credit. Action: book a sales appointment (phone, form, or walk-in that lands on the calendar). Number: count of those appointments this month — not sessions, not CTR, not “engaged users.” If the site hides the offer below a 40% traffic spike and the form asks for a novel, you do not have a conversion path; you have a brochure. You will rebuild paths in a later course. Here you only have to name the event so the $3,000 has something honest to chase.

Submit the diagnosis

Four labeled boxes for Northfield Motors — not a vibe paragraph. (1) ICP this month: who, where, what just happened in their life, and why they would book a 48-hour test drive. (2) Anti-ICP: three people Dana will refuse to buy clicks for, with one reason each. (3) Offer: restate the 48-hour test drive + same-day financing in buyer language, then name the one proof on the site that makes it believable. (4) Conversion event: the single action you will count — booked sales appointment — plus two vanity metrics you will not report as wins. Invented market share, “everyone in Frederick,” or “anyone who likes cars” fails.

Deliverable: 4-box worksheet: ICP, anti-ICP (3 refusals), offer + proof, conversion event + 2 vanity metrics you will ignore.
