At Legible Marketing (legiblemarketing.com), we operate a B2B SaaS platform for marketing agencies, automotive dealers, dental tourism clinics, and similar businesses. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how you can control it — including when you connect third-party accounts (Google, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and others) to use platform features. This policy applies to visitors to our website, subscribers to our platform, and end users who interact with our clients' websites, chat widgets, and phone systems.
Consent
By using our website, you hereby consent to our Privacy Policy and agree to its terms.
Information we collect
The personal information that you are asked to provide, and the reasons why you are asked to provide it, will be made clear to you at the point we ask you to provide your personal information.
If you contact us directly, we may receive additional information about you such as your name, email address, phone number, the contents of the message and/or attachments you may send us, and any other information you may choose to provide. When you register for an Account (if applicable), we may ask for your contact information, including items such as name, company name, address, email address, and telephone number.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect in various ways, including to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain our website
- Improve, personalize, and expand our website
- Understand and analyze how you use our website
- Develop new products, services, features, and functionality
- Communicate with you, either directly or through one of our partners, including for customer service, to provide you with updates and other information relating to the website, and for marketing and promotional purposes
- Send you emails
- Find and prevent fraud
- Operate connected integrations you authorize (calendar, social publishing, analytics, messaging, and CRM sync)
- Provide AI-assisted inbox, voice, and campaign features for our business customers
Business customers and end users
Our subscribers (business customers) use Legible Marketing to manage leads, conversations, marketing content, and operations. Their customers and website visitors may submit contact details through forms, chat widgets, or phone calls hosted on our platform. We process that data on behalf of the business customer under their instructions. Business customers are responsible for posting their own privacy notices on their websites; this policy describes Legible Marketing's practices as the platform provider.
SMS and text messaging
When a consumer opts in on a business customer's website (for example an automotive dealer contact or appointment form), Legible Marketing may send transactional SMS on that customer's behalf — such as appointment confirmations, missed-call follow-ups, and service status updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consumers can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help at any time.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
Connected third-party accounts
When a business customer or authorized user clicks Connect in the admin or client portal, we request only the permissions needed for the feature they enable. OAuth access tokens and related metadata are stored encrypted in our database, scoped to the customer's tenant. We do not sell third-party platform data. We use connected data only to provide the features described below and as permitted by each platform's terms.
Google API Services user data
If you connect a Google account, Legible Marketing's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We access Google user data only after you explicitly authorize the connection and only for the features you enable:
- Google Calendar — read availability and create or update appointment events (for example test drives, consultations, or service visits) when booking through our client portal or AI assistants
- Google Analytics (read-only) — display GA4 traffic and conversion metrics in marketing dashboards
- Google Search Console (read-only) — display search queries, impressions, and page performance for SEO reporting
- Google Business Profile — sync reviews and location information into our Reputation workflow so staff can monitor and respond
- Google Ads (read-only) — display campaign performance metrics for authorized ad accounts
- YouTube (when enabled) — identify your channel after connect and upload Shorts or videos you schedule in our Social Growth Engine
Google Limited Use disclosure
Legible Marketing's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google user data for serving advertisements, sell it to data brokers, or use it for purposes unrelated to the features you enable. You may disconnect Google integrations in the Legible Marketing portal or revoke access at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Meta (Facebook and Instagram) data
When you connect Meta, we access data from the Facebook Pages and Instagram professional accounts you manage, only after OAuth authorization. Typical uses include:
- Listing Pages and Instagram accounts you manage so you can select publishing and inbox destinations
- Publishing organic posts, Reels, or Stories you approve in our Social Growth Engine or content planner
- Reading post insights (for example impressions and engagement) to show performance in client dashboards
- Receiving and responding to Facebook Messenger, Instagram direct messages, and comments in our unified inbox when webhooks are enabled
- Managing Page metadata required for publishing and engagement features you enable
Meta access tokens and Page or Instagram catalog metadata are stored encrypted per tenant. When you disconnect Meta in the admin or client portal, we revoke permissions where the Graph API allows and delete local tokens and catalog data. Meta may also notify us via a deauthorize callback when you remove the app from your Facebook settings.
TikTok data
When you connect TikTok through Login Kit, we may receive basic profile information (such as display name and open ID) and use Content Posting API access only to upload videos you explicitly schedule or approve in our platform. We do not access your TikTok data except to provide these publishing features. Tokens are stored encrypted per tenant. Disconnect TikTok in the client or admin portal to remove stored credentials.
YouTube data
When you connect YouTube, we use Google OAuth scopes to identify your channel and, when you enable YouTube Shorts in the Social Growth Engine, upload videos you approve at scheduled publish times. We do not modify your channel settings or post content without your explicit channel selection and publish action in our product. See the Google API Services section above for Limited Use and revocation.
LinkedIn data
When you connect LinkedIn, we use OpenID Connect profile information to identify your account and, when you enable LinkedIn publishing, post content you approve to your profile or organization pages according to the permissions you grant (for example w_member_social). Tokens are stored encrypted per tenant and can be disconnected in the portal at any time.
Other service providers
Depending on features you enable, Legible Marketing may also process data through additional subprocessors, always under contract and for service delivery only:
- Stripe — payment processing for subscriptions (we do not store full card numbers)
- Twilio — voice calls, SMS, and WhatsApp messaging
- SendGrid — transactional and marketing email delivery
- OpenAI and other AI providers — content generation and conversation assistance when enabled (prompts may include business context you provide)
- Salesforce and HubSpot — CRM sync when you connect those systems
- Umami or similar — privacy-focused website analytics on our marketing site and optional client widgets
Data security
We use industry-standard safeguards including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage for OAuth tokens and sensitive credentials, tenant isolation, role-based access controls, and audit logging for administrative actions. Access to production data is limited to personnel who need it to operate the service.
Data retention
We retain account, integration, and conversation data for as long as your subscription is active or as needed to provide the service. Analytics rollups and logs may be retained for operational and security purposes according to our internal retention schedules. When you disconnect an integration, we delete or invalidate associated tokens promptly. Business customers may request deletion of personal data using the form on this page or by contacting us.
Disconnecting integrations and revoking access
You can stop our access to connected platforms at any time:
- Legible Marketing admin or client portal — use Disconnect on the relevant integration (Google, Meta, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Google — https://myaccount.google.com/permissions
- Meta — Facebook Settings → Security and login → Apps and websites
- TikTok — TikTok app settings → Security → Manage app permissions
- LinkedIn — LinkedIn Settings → Data privacy → Permitted services
Data deletion requests
You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data we hold about you. Business customers can use the data deletion request form below. We respond within the timeframes required by applicable law (typically within 30 days). For data processed on behalf of a business customer (for example a lead who contacted a dealer through our widget), we will forward your request to that business customer when appropriate.
